Busy Days in Room 15

What a busy day - we enjoyed a visit from Ben's little speagle puppy, Bella. What a cute little bundle of energy. Ben and his family are kept on their toes!
From there we worked on our class treaty after thinking about what we want and need to be able to learn and teach in Room 15. Everyone got to share their ideas and we agreed on the main things that many of the groups had in common. The class have all signed the treaty and it is displayed in the classroom with our ringaringa design as a reminder throughout the year.

This is what we have agreed on:
In Te Kanawa’s Marae we agree to...

Respect each other, ourselves, and all property belonging to school and others
We will look after the environment - in the class, playground and the community
Co-operate with each other
Listen to each other
Display our school qualities of..
Respect, Responsibility, Curiosity, and Persistence
Be safe (inside, outside, and online)
Treat others how we want to be treated
Let others teach and LEARN

The day ended with our first Kahoot quiz on the Treaty of Waitangi. What a fun way to learn!
